Policies and Guidelines
In the case of severe weather conditions, we will be canceled if Cincinnati Public Schools are canceled for the day. Please check our Art Workshop Facebook Page in order to confirm class cancellations due to severe weather. Art Classes will not be made up due to cancellations from severe weather conditions.
Please bring your child directly into their class and pick them up promptly at the end of class. It is not the responsibility of the teacher to supervise children outside of their class time. For safety reasons, children will not be released to walk home or leave the building without an adult or sibling coming into the class to get them. Please indicate in a note to their teacher if you wish for them to be released to meet you outside or walk home. Please inform teacher of any allergies or special needs during Registration.
Payment and registration fees (if applicable) are due at the beginning of the quarter. For your convenience, we accept credit cards through Paypal. If full payment is not possible or you are in need of a scholarship for help with tuition, please contact Nancy Kopp at email@example.com and we will set up a payment plan that will work for you. Scholarship applications are available upon request.
The yearly registration fee is non-refundable. Tuition and class fees are refunded only where there is documented illness or injury and require a written statement from a physician or medical establishment. Class fees will be refunded if a class is canceled due to insufficient enrollment to run the class.
The Art Workshop offers a 10% discount for each additional class taken within the same term, or for additional family member registering for the same term. FAMILY AND FRIENDS: Invite a friend to join the class and if they enroll you will receive a 10% off of YOUR tuition! Additional family members, adult or child will always receive a 10% discount if they enroll. VISITING: We do not permit free visitation of students thinking of joining the class. These visits will cost $15 per student. Any friend attending with an enrolled student will also be charged $15.
WAIVER LIABILITY POLICY:
The student enrolled and participating in the classes at The Art Workshop does so at her/his own risk. The Art Workshop will not be liable for any injury sustained nor will The Art Workshop be responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of participation in the class at The Art Workshop. Enrollment in classes and lessons at The Art Workshop location will automatically mean that the student and/or parent accepts this policy and will not hold The Art Workshop liable for any injury sustained as a result of participation in the class at The Art Workshop. The Acknowledgement of Risk and Release of Liability can be found on the registration form.
— USE OF PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO:
By participating in programs at The Art Workshop you agree to our use for publicity and advertising purposes of any photographs, videos, art work, or any other publicity materials created while you participate at the Workshop, without any further compensation to you or any other third party. Use of these materials is signed off in registration through the waiver liability policy. The Art Workshop will post photos of students and their art work to Artsonia, Facebook, and Instagram. Make sure to follow us and list your Facebook and Instagram information during Registration in order to be tagged in your photos! To opt out of social media for your child please contact Nancy Kopp personally at firstname.lastname@example.org.
